New York State Cancer Surveillance Improvement Initiative (CSII)
The New York State Department of Health's Cancer Surveillance Improvement Initiative provides statistics on cancer incidence throughout the state. Data is searchable by county or zip code. Directions on map reading and online brochures for specific cancers are also provided. Statistics are limited to the following cancers: breast, lung, colorectal, and prostate. A listing of areas with elevated cancer incidence is included. Most maps cover 1993-1997 (last revised in 2001).
