Learn More with BrainPOP

The Hassenfeld Family Health Resource Center & Library has on-site access to BrainPOP! BrainPOP is an online educational tool that provides animated, interactive, curriculum-based content. Engaging children and young adults through technology, BrainPOP introduces new topics and illustrates complex subjects in the areas of English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Health, Arts and Music, and Technology. There are also activities to reinforce understanding. 

The resources are for all audiences. Content is varied for children and youth of all ages and educational backgrounds: BrainPOP for grades 3 and up, BrainPOP Jr. for grades K-3, and  BrainPOP Español. A new feature is BrainPOP Educators, which has tips, tools, and teaching techniques for teachers and parents alike.

The animated lessons are ideal for one-on-one and group instructional settings. All content is aligned with state education standards, which are searchable through BrainPOP's state standards tool. In this way, BrainPOP lessons complement those in the school classroom.
