Our librarian

The Family Health Librarian at the Stephen D. Hassenfeld Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders is one of three consumer health librarians serving the NYU Langone Medical Center community. 

Hassenfeld's librarian, Lita Anglin, holds a Master's degree in Information Studies from The University of Texas at Austin.  After completing a program of study recognized and accredited by the American Library Association, she has earned school library certification for Texas and New York.

Ms. Anglin is also a faculty member of NYULMC's Ehrman Medical Library and has special training as a medical librarian to work with information seekers in healthcare setting.
