The Patient & Family Resource Center has created and maintains web pages of selected, organized links to web sites that reflect and respond to the information needs of past, present, and potential patients of NYU Langone Medical Center, their family members, and caregivers.
The goal for these health links is not to be a comprehensive source for general health information, rather they will remain specific to the information needs of NYU Medical Center patients. Web sites are chosen to reflect the diseases and conditions leading people to seek treatment at NYU Medical Center, along with links to basic, consumer-friendly reference tools as well as information about related health care issues such as support groups, caregiving, and health insurance.
Link selection is driven both by the resources and specialties of NYU Langone Medical Center and the high-volume information requests of the Patient & Family Resource Center's users.
